Our expanding private dental practice is looking for a customer service-oriented professional to act as a Front Office Manager to join our team. The Front Office Manager is accountable for overseeing day-to-day operations, creating an extraordinary experience for our patients, and leading and motivating an efficient and passionate team. Our modern dental practice is seeking an enthusiastic leader to enhance customer service and become a long-term team member.
We are a fast-paced office committed to patient care, and we aim to sustain a team that enjoys what they do. Therefore, the ideal applicant must be self-motivated, a team player, and embody excellent customer service. In addition, candidates must be professional and organized to play a pivotal part in the success of our growing dental practice.
This full-time position is available with a generous benefits package. Compensation will be based on experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Put a Smile on to welcome patients!
● Conduct Morning Huddle, and collaborate with clinical leads to maximize productivity and patient flow, and motivate the team to exceed patient expectations
● Monitor office email, and manage patient referrals and records
● Check Mail and enter payments received that day
● Balance payments and take the deposit to the bank
● Track office KPI’s daily and keep organized reports
● Team with Operations managers and HR for guidance on internal affairs, and performance reviews and warnings
● Onboard new hires, and provide ongoing training to ensure a well-equipped and versatile team
● Enter Pre-Determination estimates for upcoming appointments
● Assume front office duties as needed by team members
● Ensure daily operations and duties are being completed
● Manage office supply levels and order within the company budget
● Set the example for the entire staff, and be a leader your team is proud of
Requirements:
● Minimum of 1 year in leadership or management role
● 3 years experience in the medical or dental field
● Strong leadership skills
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to make quick decisions
● Strong knowledge of medical or dental insurance and billing
● Highly organized
● Excellent work ethic and record of good attendance/reliability
